This week, Somer labors to make a case for a book that she knows will elicit many eyerolls from some listeners, but hang in there anyway! She only ever asks that you give a book a one chapter try, so why not give Pride and Prejudice a shot?

Show Notes

This week I make a case for Jane Austen’s classic, Pride and Prejudice.  I know I’ve got my work cut out for me, and really, for a podcast that I want to keep relatively brief, I can only do so much.  I only ask that you give me that one chapter chance, and if you’re not curious after that, well, at least you tried it and that’s all I ever wanted.  So thank you.

Like I said in the show, IMDB shows over 200 hits when you search for Pride and Prejudice!  There are lots of television episodes in there that make a play on words for the titles, but I was curious.  Maybe you are too, so here’s the link.

Wesley Southard was the sponsor for this week’s show.  He advertised his new collection, Resisting Madness, a book that I’ve read and if you’re a fan of horror fiction, I promise you’ll love it.

Here’s the Amazon link for the US, but you can get it from Amazon in whatever country, so please check it out!
