Alexandre Dumas graces us again as I make a case for the long, but delightful work, The Three Musketeers. And I didn’t cry struggling through French pronunciations!

This is a link to the Spark Notes section that explains the history of the characters and their real-life counterparts. Very interesting.
Here’s the YouTube compilation of the Tom and Jerry episodes relating to The Three Musketeers. TELL ME I’M WRONG. That baby mouse is the perfect D’artagnan!
A long work, indeed. This novel was my entire summer of 2007, a companion I spent long hours on the porch with. And I enjoyed every minute! I was prompted to read it because, as an adolescent in the early nineties, I was extremely fond of the 1993 Disney film (it is still one of my favorite movies). Thanks for the interesting history and background information!
I have not seen that movie! I really should sit down with one some day! I also need a hard copy (copies) of this story!
